京都英語落語寄席鑑賞ツアー／One day Kyoto English Rakugo tour

 NJCS名古屋日本文化研究会では来る３月１０日日曜日に京都ワンデー英語落語鑑賞ツアーを開催いたします。京都には笑笑亭と言う英語落語グループがあり、同日開催のおひなさま寄席を楽しみます。

京都は落語発祥の地で４００年前に京都にある誓願寺のお坊さんが落語の基礎を作られたと言い伝えられています。落語の聖地である京都で英語による落語を楽しみませんか。

名古屋から京都まで約2時間、快速電車の中で日本語、英語によるランゲージエクスチェンジをしながら国際交流を楽しみながらアッと言う間に到着しますよ。

3月はJR乗り放題の青春１８きっぷが使用出来ますので電車で行く格安の旅が企画出来ました。ただし、グループで行くことが原則ですのでツアーリーダーの指示に従い、楽しい一日をご一緒しましょう。

名古屋と岐阜を集合場所としております。岐阜参加希望者の方のみ主催者にその旨ご連絡下さい。参加費はランチ、交通費込みで４０００円とします。

名古屋地区：JR名古屋駅中央コンコース高島屋前金時計前　午前８時３０分

岐阜地区；JR岐阜駅改札口　午前８時５０分

JR名古屋駅出発９時２分　米原駅到着10時10分　乗り換え米原駅発10時20分

京都駅着11時13分　乗り換え京都駅発11時17分　長岡京駅着11時28分

長岡京駅前の和食レストランでランチ

長岡京駅発12時39分　京都駅着12時50分　京都駅からバスに乗り会場へ

会場　京都府立文化芸術会館　3階和室　開演13時30分　終了16時

英語落語寄席終了後　京都御所散策　葯1時間

その後市営地下鉄にて京都駅へ

JR京都駅発18時01分　米原駅着18時58分　乗り換え米原駅発19時05分

名古屋駅着20時11分　　　名古屋駅にて解散

 

＊京都駅にて乗り遅れの場合は18時31分発の電車で名古屋着20時41分となります。

　岐阜駅集合グループ9時7分発大垣行に乗り、大垣着9時18分、大垣で参加者ピックアップして大垣発９時35分の電車に乗り名古屋組と合流します。

 NJCS (Nagoya Japan Cultural Society) organizes one day Kyoto English rakugo tour on March 10th. There is an English rakugo learning group in Kyoto, it is Laughlaughtei English rakugo group. Rakugo is a traditional Japanese comedy, one performer sits down on a cushion and tells the funny story. Laughlaughtei performers perform Rakugo in English.

Rakugo has 400 years history, they say one of the monks at the temple in Kyoto established the base of Rakugo. It takes 2 hours from Nagoya to Kyoto by JR rapid train, we can chat in English and Japanese in the train car. Let’s enjoy chatting and seeing comedy show.

We can buy JR discount ticket “Seishun 18” in March, so we could organize cheep one day trip to Kyoto. This discount ticket is limited we should go to the same place with one group.

Please follow the tour leaders and enjoy a whole day.

We decide 2 meeting up places in Nagoya and Gifu, all attendees can come to the nearest stations.

The attendee who want to come to Gifu station, let us know your name.

The participation fee is 4000 yen for lunch and all transportation fees.

 

The meeting place and time.

Nagoya team: in front of Golden clocks of JR Nagoya station near Takashimaya entrance at

8:30am.

Gifu team: at the ticket gate of JR Gifu station at 8:50 am.

 

Itinerary

Departure time at JR Nagoya station is 9:02am, Arrival time at Kyoto station is 11:13 am

Transfer at Kyoto station, then arrival time at Nagaokakyo station is 11:28am.

We will have lunch at a Japanese restaurant near Nagaokakyo station.

Departure time at Nagaokakyo station is 12:39pm, arrival time at Kyoto station is 12:50pm.

We will take a bus to the theater. The show will start at 13:30pm. It will finish around 4pm.

Then we will visit Royal palace for sightseeing for one hour. After that take subway to Kyoto.

Departure time at Kyoto station is 18:01pm, arrival time at Nagoya station is 20:11pm.

*Note

If we will miss the train, we will take the next train departure time is 18:31pm, in that case we

will be back to Nagoya station at 20:41pm.

The attendees of Team Gifu will take the train bound for Ogaki at 9:07am in the morning,

then Team Gifu is going to join with Team Nagoya in the rapid train car from Nagoya. 

Departure time at Ogaki is 9:35am.
